Spring is just around the corner, and here at Woolly Bear Natives, we are itching to get our hands back into the Virginia soil. While our online shop is always open, there is nothing we love more than meeting our fellow plant lovers in person!
We are currently filling up our 2026 calendar with plant sales, environmental festivals, and community markets in and around the Richmond area. #### Where can you find us? The short answer: Everywhere we can fit the truck! We are currently coordinating with local organizers to bring our favorite Virginia native seeds and bare-root plants to a neighborhood near you. Whether you’re looking for Butterfly Milkweed for your backyard habitat or Virginia Bluebells for a shaded corner, we’ll have plenty of locally adapted stock in tow.
Stay in the Loop
Because event schedules can be as unpredictable as a Virginia spring, we’ll be updating our appearances in real-time. Here is how you can make sure you don't miss us:
- Bookmark This Post: We will update the list below as soon as dates are confirmed.
- Follow us on Facebook: We’ll post "Live" updates, booth locations, and "Sneak Peeks" of the plants we're bringing to each event.
- Sign up for the Newsletter: Get the full monthly schedule delivered straight to your inbox.
Upcoming Appearances (Dates Pending)
Check back soon for our first confirmed stops in Richmond, Chesterfield, and Henrico!
Why shop with us in person?
Beyond skipping the shipping, visiting our booth is a great time to ask questions. Not sure if your soil is too "clay-heavy" for New York Ironweed? Want to see the size of our bare roots before you buy? We love talking "shop" and helping you pick the right plant for your specific ecosystem.
